FAQS
-
Balayage is the ultimate technique when it comes to versatility in the world of hair colour. Whether you want a low-maintenance, lived-in vibe or a high-impact, bright blonde with a touch of blending, balayage has you covered. It’s a long loved blending technique that adds lightness and dimension while working with a blend into your natural colour.
-
The maintenance of a balayage is tailored to suit your specific hair goals! If you like being really blonde you can refresh it as early as six weeks with options such as Face Frame Foils, Part Line Foils or a Gloss Toner. Most commonly clients will maintain their balayage with a touch up service anywhere from 8 - 12 weeks. As this service is all about the blend, foils from a balayage can also be maintained with just a root melt toner at your next scheduled trim.
-
A traditional full head of foils is to give you the brightest blonde placed to the root, this service should be touched up within 6 - 8 weeks. A balayage service includes blending of your natural colour into the chosen lighter shade! Meaning a balayage blend can last a lot longer (8-12 weeks) and will grow out softer than your traditional foils to the root.
-
This heavily depends on what steps are needed to achieve your colour goals along with hair thickness, prior colour history, processing times and the condition of hair. Usually a balayage, toner, cut and blow-dry will take 3.5 to 4 hours. If the session is considered more corrective it can take up to 5 hours.
